I believe in making it through the day without hurting from chronic illness. I believe
in making it through the day without having a panic attack. Yes, I believe in minimalism,
not for the reasons I stated above, but by living with fewer distractions, I can
avoid being distracted, and by being simple.

Short Story Time,

 The air was cool, so I sat… aimed to sit quietly. The water was so calm that day.
However, I was not calm. I had been running all my frustration out, tossing it all
upon the lake. As I sat in the chair, I was out of breath. I tried to slow my breath
down. My lungs could not inhale and exhale air fast enough. My heart was racing 
out of my chest.

Jenny Anders, a jilted lover. Whatever, love was stupid, I thought to myself. How
could I have ever thought this jerk would divide all our assets as a married couple
once our divorce was finalized? Jeff moved on and fell head over heels in love with
another. She was a dear lady, so to speak, and deserved so much better.

At least he left me this plot of land, the one at our lake house. I think I will
retire from my job and establish my home here. Our kids will still be able to enjoy
