This morning, I got a different perspective on dark places, the pit, addictions,
and prison (guilty or not). I mean, something that you feel like you don’t deserve.
Or maybe something you feel like you do deserve. Do you feel shame about something?
Do you feel an overwhelming depression that seems to never fade away. Can you see
a way out? For me, lately, those places get…? Those places seem impossible to get
out of. So what’s my new perspective, you say?

 I surrender. I mean, I want to say I trust in God more to be strong when I feel
weak. I want to say there is a purpose for my pain. I want to say that I wholefully
believe in a superpower that will catch me when I fall. Or this faith I have will
make everything change in my favor.  Honestly, I can’t say that.

All I know is I don’t have a choice but to hope. I don’t have a choice but to have
faith. I don’t have a choice but to trust. Because living any other way would be“
more” miserable and seem void of any light.

I choose to have something to believe in. I choose to have a different perspective.
I plant the seed and trust the seed will grow with the proper conditions.
