I think I have been humbled by life circumstances. At this point in life, I feel
that I am where I am meant to be. Good circumstances or bad ones.

 Steven King once said, “Don’t give me what I want. Give me what I need.” I believe
that life throws us all curveballs that eventually mature us.

One of the curveballs in my life is the decline of my physical body from my TBI.
The damage to my brain is just as real to me now as the damage was back then. Others
may forget the event when my brain damage occurred. Feb. 22 1992 is a night I can’t
forget. I can’t forget it because I have lived it over and over from Feb. 22, 1992-
today. As long as my life goes on, the damage with its effects carry on.

 Someone wise once said, the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. I have noticed
that over time, my spirit caught up with my physical body. That, in a way, my spirit
says to me now that it’s okay to rest. I don’t need to push anymore like I did in
my 20s to early 40s.I am fragile. My body is broken. I am being protected in my 
spirit that lives within me.

So today, Happy Easter friend. I send you blessings of hope, new life,second chances,
endurance,compassion, and love, dear friend. Never give up on these things!
