# Weekend Writing Prompt #213

Write about an issue in your community that you would like to solve, redesign, or
improve, and how you would accomplish that.

Honestly, I like my community as it is. A small town. It’s historical. Plus, my 
town is beautiful. But to improve a place I feel like each individual needs to improve
themselves first. So, to improve oneself I believe there are steps we can take to
achieve that goal. Number one would be to have an attitude of…”how can I help”? 
We live in a world where people are constantly complaining about what others don’t
do. Instead of taking the responsibility. Nothing gets done that way. I wish I would
come up with a way to permanently change the view of a simple mind.

Redesign or improve? How would I accomplish changing the view of a simple-minded
person? If it all depended on me, then I would pray for others to have a giving 
heart. I would wish for them to have less of a heart that expected the world to 
meet their needs. I wish for more people who wanted to meet the needs of their community.
I would also start with myself by growing personally. I would realize that I can
only change myself. These are some of the things that I can do. I need to realize
that the only person I can change is myself. The key is to be at peace with myself
first. HOWEVER…Let’s all be more giving. Let’s all be better people.
