Where to start? I didn’t know. I knew that she wanted to do things by herself with
no help this time. The thing is I wasn’t sure she was able do things on her own.
My mom helped me most of my life. Life came full circle and now I was doing things
for my daughter, Pat. I remember our conversation before we loaded the last box 
in the trunk of her blazer. She was nervous about her new adventure. As her mom,
I noticed her frustration. She fumbled with her shirt, which got stuck in the car
trunk door as she shut it. I would continue to plea with Pat for me to help her 
move into her new apartment._ “You don’t need to worry about me,” Pat said, “I can
take care of myself.”_
