I have been thinking about what I wanted to post today. Now it is 9 pm, and still, my mind is blank. I am sitting here at my computer and feeling confused. My son just told me that we don’t celebrate Christmas here anymore. So why am I worried about putting up a tree? A teenager really knows how to make a mama feel confused. I realize I need to improve my approach to holidays.
The days of admiration from a child to their mama are long gone. We are stupid so teenagers think. Even if they try to be nice about it. Mama’s with young babies, I understand you hate hearing this from a veteran mom of a teenager. But, we truly mean it. You will miss the excitement, and the energy of your little’s. Right now I regret every time I didn’t give my all with things. The point is to teach our children about life. Life is not perfect. Teenagers grow up too. Yet I spent too much time being frustrated about stuff.
P.S. I AM READY FOR THINGS TO GET BACK TO NORMAL…AFTER THE HOLIDAYS!…JUST NORMAL STRESS!?
