I am grateful for family and friends, harmony, and peace. It’s mid-November. A crisp air breeze, my favorite weather, surrounds us as we chat. We are sitting by the campfire. We built it out of wood pieces we found around the lake house. We share memories, jokes from our past adventures while we wait for others to arrive. My best friend’s car appears at the gate. She finds an open spot to park her vehicle among the many cars parked at the corner of the fence. Once she’s parked, Sophie, her dachshund jumps up and out of her open door on the driver’s side. Sophie is dressed in the cutest winter themed sweater. It is guaranteed to keep her warm. We all dote on her with affection. Now, since we are all here. We can order our favorite pizza, laugh some more plus enjoy each other. We sing to our favorite tunes blaring out of the outside speaker. Later, we gather around the living room t.v. to watch a movie
