Embracing Simplicity: Lawn Care Over Tan Lines

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “tan/ten/tin/ton/tun

Let’s start with tan. This year, it matters zero to me that I get the perfect tan this summer. Just give me a riding lawn mower, a t-shirt, and some bug spray, and I am ready to cut the grass. Some mow the lawn in a bikini. Nope, not me. Ten years ago, I woulda cared about tan lines. Pbssst…! Nowadays, I’d rather listen to the rainfall on a tin roof. I don’t give a ton of care towards the cosmetics of life. Plus, I don’t need a tun of beer to have fun. I hate the taste, plus I’d rather have Kool-Aid or maybe water to drink.
