Short Story of the day;

Gerald had to make sure that none of his colleagues noticed. As the head bee in charge, it was his job to manage the toilet paper and other bathroom supplies. He found himself in a pickle this morning. While he was taking a bathroom break, there was no toilet paper. Gerald was the one to blame. He wondered to himself. Had anyone else used the bathroom yet🤔? It was still early. So, maybe not. #Fandango’s Story Starter- #248

Gerald’s thoughts while in the bathroom…

Estelle looked at me while I was sitting on the toilet. She was our cat mascot. Yes, I know that sounds weird to have a cat mascot for a bee construction company. Hey, we needed the publicity and marketing upgrade cats provide. Cats are great storytellers. Our mascot, the cat, looked at me like she had a tough night. I don’t know? Maybe she had trouble sleeping last night. Her hair was disheveled, and she didn’t have her usual grin on her face. Or maybe she was showing me her disdain for not replacing the toilet paper. Who knows?

Gerald then went to the supply closet to gather the bathroom supplies and toiletries. #Simply6. In the supply closet, he searched high and low for toilet paper. There was none. He says, “Great, now I am a fool for not ordering toilet paper”! In the corner, he saw a stack of old newspapers. Gerald got the bright idea to put the newspapers in the bathroom. He tried to play a joke on his coworkers. He went so far as to post signs directing his crew to use it for toilet paper, in hopes that his order would come in soon.

Moral of the story:

Don’t wait to do things later- after you need them.  Go ahead and do things before time or supply runs out.
