What if I tried to write for 5 or 6 minutes. What would I say?
I think that the question is more like… what if I had 5 or 6 minutes to write what I wanted to say to you? Yesterday I was reminded how swiftly life passes us by. The more time we spend loving instead of hating is better than our time spent in anger or frustration. Life here on Earth passes in the blink of an eye. Why waste it? I mean how is it I am 52? I still feel like I am in high school graduating, about to go on a graduation beach trip. I did spend a lot of my life with my friends in my twenties. Time I still feel was well spent. I also spent time living with my grandmother after high school. Such a wise woman. I got to experience a bond with her that I will always cherish. Then came my thirties and forties. I had my son. We all know where those years of raising a child went. I would never regret it though. This is the good part. The part I don’t speak much about when it comes to my past. Somehow the TBI years where they were full of struggles seem to overtake feelings like this.
Why do I worry about what people think? I do a little, but I am better at it. I stand up for the younger version of me who didn’t stand up for myself. That is why I talk about my TBI a lot.
So here we are…I feel off today. Rest and relaxation will help, I suppose. 🥰
Sadje asks in her Sunday Poser prompt,
Have you ever faced a situation where you realized that what you thought was reality was actually a mistaken belief, and you were forced to change your opinion? Or do you think that your reality can be different from the reality of others?
Please share your thoughts in the comments section or you can write your own post and link it to this one so that I can find it.
As usual, thanks of visiting and reading.

The accident wasn’t her fault, yet no one’s else either.
Yet, the days that followed were filled with personality changes, lack of empathy, careless decisions, hope, losses, betrayal… ALL OF IT WEAVED A DESTINY THAT WOULD FOLLOW HER THE REST OF HER LIFE. Until one day, she stopped drowning. She placed her feet on solid ground. She realized that all other ground is sinking sand. SHE IS ME AND I AM SO THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL FOR THE GOOD AND THE BAD FOR IT ALL LED ME TO WHERE I AM.🧠💚🕊️

I’ve been wrong about many things over the years. I’ve changed my mind about many things. I think we all have gone through this.
Have a fabulous day and week, Heidi. ♥
These are eye-opening experiences. It is fabulous to have my blog friends to enjoy throughout the week. Enjoy your week, Sandee
Good thoughts ~ thanks ^_^
Thanks for commenting on my blog ~
It’s good to keep looking at the way you see the world and think about whether you are seeing correctly. The fact is, reality is to a small degree, personal reality. One nice police officer friend of ours said it this way, there are always 3 sides to any domestic dispute, his side, her side, and the truth. Each sees it her/his own way, we bring to our perception of the world our own experiences and biases and tastes which are not like those of any other person in the whole world.
i’m glad you’re standing up for yourself and it just seems like time flies by!
Life is about learning and growing. Hopefully, our mistakes are not easily made again. The thing I discovered about myself over the years is I’m smart. You don’t have to be a genius, mostly a good head and common sense is an excellent combination for getting by. Unfortunately the latter is vanishing in our world. It was nice to read your thoughts and thanks for stopping by my little niche in Blogosphere. Have a blessed week, Heidi!
A profound look at life Heidi. I like that you’re satisfied and happy with the past and the present. Best of luck dear friend.
Thank you, Sadje ✨
You’re welcome 💝
