She rested for a while,
suspended on a thin line.
This place was her only hope,
a symbol of her fragile existence.
There wasn’t enough space these days,
the space between chaos and calm.

Her escape, she sees this…

if only I trust in what I can’t see.

“I have the freedom to fly,
I have mighty strength.
Yet, I feel so entrapped.
I am too close to the edge,” she says.
“So, I go…?
…now, I stay,” she thinks.

In the meantime, he only sees with his eyes.
“Look! She says, “See with your mind.”
…. see with the use of your hands, she thinks.”
“ANYTHING. DON’T GIVE UP!
PLEASE, see with anything but your eyes”.

“No one sees me…
Why don’t they see me? he says.
I am heartbroken because I can’t see with my eyes.
Can’t someone fix me?
Why don’t they see me?” he says.
He is blue.
The color of depression.
So, he says, “I will sit here, in the middle of this market square.
I will be silent while no one sees me
and dare anyone to care, because I am blind,” he says.
Meanwhile, she lays on a thin line
between chaos and calm.
Until Next Time,
