There was a girl who got through the day with routines, laughter. and some memes...chores, laughs, smiles, and some cats...food, naps, plus coffee too...then yoga for the win... a warm bath, some books, and You Tube📺-hdtj💜
The trick in life is to manage to laugh at yourself. We eventually learn, as we get older to laugh at ourselves more no matter what, or where we are. To laugh at yourself, is a gem of a jewel to develop in life.
I dusted my knees off as a reminiscent of a “never give up” philosophy. Today was going to be full of good memories. Not grumpy or sad. That would be an insult to any hope I had left in my soul. But first, I would tell myself this was the world I didn’t actually lived in. Nothing was final here. There was no left, right, up, or down, top or bottom. It was a dark, and depressing place that made you claustrophobic. It was more desirable to clean up cat throw up than to be in this world at times. The walls seemed to close around you. Still, when you shone that flashlight beam, a path appeared. It let you duplicate happy times. It also let you recreate cherished memories. If only you got back up when you stumbled and fell. That was the answer: to get back up and dust your knees off.
Presumption should never make us neglect that which appears easy to us, nor despair make us lose courage at the sight of difficulties.

1. How would you describe your laughter? (giggly, deep, infectious? etc )
loud (deep); hopefully infectious
2. What makes you smile?
I enjoy jokes on social media: especially memes. I love to laugh with others and laughing at myself.
3. Have you ever cried with laughter, and if so, can you remember the circumstances?
My mom and I can laugh at the most non funny things. There is this one time we were in a store. The sales lady was walking up behind us to see if we needed help. Once we noticed her, she says, “did I scare you” in the weirdest voice. To this day we think of that and start laughing till we are in tears.
4. Have you ever laughed at an inopportune moment?
Yesterday for example, I was at a funeral to pay respect to a family member that passed away. A time when it’s supposed to be quiet. I couldn’t look at my mom because I would look at her and at times see her nodding her head. All I could think of was, what if she snored? How would I stifle a snort of laughter?

…with a scarf wrapped around my neck. I don’t feel cold. Only warm from being bundled up in a thick coat. My Tobago is big enough to cover the tips of my ears. I find solace in knowing there is a big pot of homemade vegetable soup. It is waiting for me, simmering in the crock pot. My best friend and I walk down the path to my family’s winter cottage. We plan to have a weekend of girl time. We will enjoy snacks. We will also watch a few movies we have been wanting to see.
