That’s better than the alternative, is usually said when someone is comparing life to death. At one point in life, I would have disagreed. I am here to say I am thankful my life did go on at that point. If it hadn’t, I would have missed a deeper relationship with my faith in God. My son who is the bright spot in my life would not be here without me being here. Those two things have made life so much better these days.
