What’s a mystery from your own life that you’ve never solved?
Why do I act the way I do? Why do people act the way they do?
In reflection, I am finding grace, mercy, and forgiveness for myself and others these days. Yet, my mystery will not be solved; I will embrace peace.
Today is a good day to have breakfast for lunch. To tell you what is on my plate: leftover buffalo chicken, cucumbers. ranch dressing and everything bagel seasoning (lunch meal). Avocado (mashed) and an egg (breakfast meal).

Could I coax you into reading a short story?
My story begins with the writing on the wall. It was graffiti, the cacography of youthful troublemakers who had no sense of right or wrong.
Her fate was sealed with a single word: guilty. She was punished for her crimes. Behati accepted the fate. That is the consequence of following the wrong crowd, she told herself. At least her crimes were not severe enough for her to serve time. Deep in her soul, she knew she had to get away for a while. She wanted to separate herself from the crowd of troublemakers before they sealed her fate into a life of trouble for infinity
Behati sat in the crowded terminal. ELBOW to elbow with each member of the mission team. To pass the time, she entrusted her belongings to one of the women she had become friends with, so she could browse the shops available there. She spotted a music shop that had old Compact Discs. Going through the different genres, she found the perfect choice.
Blues of the 70’s. Music that would make her smile inside while traveling to Kenya, Africa. She made her purchase. By the time she made her way back to where the team was sitting, it was time to board the plane.
Time to reflect, renew, relax, and help others. Get closer to God by spreading His love with basic human kindness. While bonding with those who are in need, she would erase the negative effects of years of bad choices, low self-esteem, troublemaking, hate, anger, selfishness, and breaking the law.
Behati was more than ready. She was inspired. In hopes of leaving a legacy for friends she would meet in the African village of West Pokot, Kenya, Africa. Those who needed the hands and feet of Jesus’ work on Earth. That’s the power of God, she believed.
