Are you a good judge of character?

This is a nightmare. That’s it. One day I will wake up in a hospital from a deep sleep. I will be disoriented at first. Then suddenly realized that the last 43 years of my life had been a dream. Actually what seemed like 43 years was only 33 days of my life that I had survived in a coma. No wonder I felt like I was living outside of my body. No wonder I felt the stares. It is no mystery that I could read the thoughts of others that surrounded me. Those thoughts of others that said she could do more. She’s lazy. People judged me and made fun of me. I wanted to scream. I felt like my insides were cancerous from lack of proper attention. I deserved to be sick. I had thoughts in my head that would come out in mumbles of words I wanted to say. I wanted someone to hear me to understand what I was saying. Food was an addiction to me. I couldn’t stop eating. Not because the food filled me with hunger but because the taste of the food was good. I was desperately wanting something good in my life. The touch of someone else filled the loneliness of losing a part of me. I didn’t want to be so welcoming to them. People were in it for the money. I knew that. I didn’t care. I was desperate for someone to love me. I hated how I was. I hated myself for not being normal. In all honesty, my hate spilled out to others. I felt numb. I wasn’t qualified for anything. Others believed that I just did not want to do better, no one understood. But here we are. I can rest now because everything was just a dream.

The prompt was: Are you a good judge of character?

My Answer,

I don’t trust anyone…

Until Next Time,
