After a day of housework, cooking, and caregiver mode, I’d like to settle down after a warm shower.
… In my bed. To do what I want to do. Read, write, Facebook. Whatever.
My husband has a different idea. He asked me to look up videos on YouTube. I mean,come on. I look at his request. I also feel guilty for making a big deal about it. Most likely, he senses that. So there goes the never-ending spiral of me trying to convince myself of being a horrible person. I may even lose sleep or overeat about it. On the other hand, I think about him making up ways to annoy me when I’ve been busy all day and now finally have time to rest. Funny story…
As far as my favorite place, it is right here. Bedtime, a warm shower. Oh, and if my cat settles down to cuddle and eventually sleep. It’s a plus.
