What’s a thing you were completely obsessed with as a kid?

Probably candy,

Maybe that shots were the devil,

Or, My dentist who made the roof of my mouth tickle when he polished  my teeth,

Plus the fact that I had to sip medicine because it made me gag if I drank it in one gulp.

-yes,and laughed so hard I could not catch my breath…

4.  Have you ever laughed at an inopportune moment?

Yes, a sermon at church. It was months after my brain injury. There is a condition where it causes you to laugh or cry, PBA. Someone in our church had fallen asleep and was snoring. I got tickled and couldn’t stop laughing. I was trapped in my seat. At that time, I could not walk on my own.

There was a tap, tap, tap, on glass and a drip drip, drip from the leak of the sink faucet. My floor was slippery so I needed to be careful not to slip on the wet floor. Using hand towels on the bottoms of my feet, I was able to slide to the window. I opened the window. A cool breeze was blowing. I could hear the birds singing their beautiful tunes. Glancing in the direction of my refrigerator, I notice the date. May the 22 is an awkward date for me. Why, I don’t remember. Other than it being an annoyance that I can’t remember why. In a daze, I reflected on some reasons. Was this the anniversary of something I should remember? Someone’s birthday? What about an event that occurred on this date. I jerked when my mind jolted back to reality. The smell of clorox in my multi-purpose cleaner wafted through the air as I saturated my waste basket and kitchen counters. Today is kitchen cleaning day. I wipe down all major appliances, the counters, the shelves. Plus I mop the floor. I am aware of cheaper options to clean that don’t cost as much yet that clorox smell makes all the difference to me. Today, I wanted to take a trip to stroll the town square. I was in search of the new model chrome appliances and maybe some new stuff for the kitchen like oven mits, heat pads, or decorative items. Plus, walking to town would be a distraction from the importance of this date. I could clear my head. Still, I asked myself, “What is it about this day that is gnawing confusion in my mind?
