Sunday Poser — The Turn of the Century

I can be reluctant to accept help when I need help but want to be independent.

The reason?

I would like to keep on, never give up. But sometimes, we do need to accept help from others. I understand the struggle.

Finding a healthy balance between independence and help from others is a task. Especially when we are the ones that want to help. I do wonder what that healthy balance is.

Maybe our pride gets hurt in a way that we feel inadequate as a functioning adult. What if we looked at help from others as an expression of gratitude for them?
