Until now, I didnt think of the word close as meaning two different things. You can say that you are close to someone like a friend or family member or you can say you close something like a door or a window. Whichever way you chose to use the word, “Close” is our prompt word for today for Esther Chilton’s Word Prompt. Plus when you say you close a door, you can mean a door that you would physically walk through or you can say you close the door to a part of life, or a chapter in a book.
English has many stumbling blocks and stepping stones as well. Use the language kindly and wisely.
Until Next Time,
