JUSJOJAN- 1-25-2026

Today’s word is Transmission brought by Dar’s blog.

When I read her post for the day, it reminded me how each moment is important; even the small ones.

I sit here with numb fingers from being in the icy cold weather we are having today. Well, for the last two days its been icy rain and frozen solid outside. Examples of time that doesn’t move. However the world still goes on when its difficult to move around. It’s isolation. While I clear a pathway so I can walk on my deck, I think how poor health feels lonely. There is always a need. Even in the middle of everyone’s else’s needs during an ice storm. Having needs feels normal.

I looked up the word, transmission, looking for any definition that wasn’t car related. I read how a transmission in a car transfers power from the engine to the wheels. That is it’s purpose.

This brings me to the struggles we face when something isn’t working properly. There isn’t that power. It can be hard to find purpose.  Physical,mental,social or emotional needs, if there isn’t the right equipment, it’s hard to get the job done. That is a lonely feeling.

I dont know how to end this blog post. Other than, I pray for grace and mercy for others as well as for myself when we don’t have the power to make things work properly. God bless you all. You are important.
