Leaving a legacy for me is…

For today’s post, we are asked by Great Minds Think… If you were to be immortalized for future generations, what form would it take, and what aspects of your life do you think you would want people to know about you?  I find myself reading the obituaries these days. That’s not morbid, right? Maybe I should’ve chosen a featured image for this blog post other than “Satan wants his weather back” when referring to “my legacy”. To be fair…Heaven’s weather is probably nicer. So is the air conditioner on Earth on these “heat advisory days”! Back to obituaries, I wonder what mine would say? Of course, I will be remembered as a traumatic brain injury survivor, a stroke survivor’s caregiver, but the main thing I would love to be remembered as is a devoted and loyal wife, a good mother my son feels comfortable with who knows I love him, a trustworthy friend, and a loved and loving family member. Basically, a person who has something good to contribute to my Earthly life as well as to another person’s life. I may not have many achievements in life, but I hope my other characteristics will outweigh anything I haven’t achieved.
