Tag your responses with 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC, and you can add my logo if you wish.

Pingbacks don’t always work so leave your link in the comments so that I can respond to you directly and other bloggers can read your writings. Why not check out some of theirs while you’re there!
The challenge goes out around 6.00 am UK time, but pingbacks may not show immediately as they have to be approved manually and sometimes I’m late accessing my blog. I will get there, I promise!
Looking forward to reading your responses.

This is my post…

Unlike other mornings, this morning was different. The first inhale he was consciously aware of was fresh baked something or another. “I hope it’s a freshly pulled out of the oven pan of blueberry muffins,” Daniel said as he pulled the covers back on the bed. He was sore from yesterday’s move into the new house. Getting out of bed would be an effort this morning. Slinging his legs from the bed to the floor and into his slippers was no small task. He did it even if he forced himself.

It was nice to have stairs in the new place. Daniel loved the fact that he had an upstairs and downstairs. Two bedrooms, including his as a third were upstairs. The downstairs was the living room area, a fitness room, and a huge kitchen with plenty storage in the pantry. He needed the storage since his previous house didn’t have much storage space.

Walking into the kitchen. He found his wife sitting at the table with her coffee mug in one hand and her phone in the other. She was chatting firmly with someone. Must have been a bill collector. Coleen was kind. A thing I hardly was when I talked to bill collectors. I did not have patience.

On my way to the fridge to grab some orange juice was when I noticed the candle. A YANKEE candle. Of course it was blueberry scented. So, I realized no blueberry muffins unless I cooked them myself this morning. While I searched for the juice I grabbed the eggs. I decided to cook myself breakfast. I could hear my wife was busy with her conversation, so I didn’t want to bother her just yet. After choosing the items from the fridge, I placed them on the counter and walked over to my wife to kiss her on her forehead. I noticed she was eating a piece of toast with jelly. Before I started cooking, I said, “would you like eggs to go with YOUR toast”? I’ll fix them for you. She replied, ” thank you but no.” She said she was fine with coffee and toast.

Careful not to include the YOLK, I scrambled my eggs. I only wanted the whites of my eggs. I found my seat at the kitchen table to begin eating breakfast. The news was on T.V. which talked about today as being a good day to run. Naturally, I thought to dress in my workout clothes to enjoy a quick run before tackling the editing of my current book. As I walked outside, I smiled to myself thinking …This move is going to be great. I think this area is going to be a great place to live.

Nice story. I live about an hour from Yankee Candle headquarters. The big store is nice with a huge Christmas area.

What do you think? 🤔
