I go through a phase in my writing where the style varies from occasion to occasion, from prompt to day. In other words, I am creative with my writing style. For this prompt, as well as several others, I draw inspiration from a song, a thought, or a personal experience; there is no limit. This particular prompt made me think of a song. In particular, I thought of the artist, too, and how she’s singing along with her ex after their breakup. At the end of all the chaos, we can take lessons from the great Stevie Nicks, but here is a cool song before we get into all the chaos.
Side note:
Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham were romantically involved for about eight years, from 1968 to 1976. They met in high school and remained in a relationship while playing in the band “Fritz”. They later joined Fleetwood Mac together in 1975. Their relationship ended in 1976, but they continued to work together in the band, which also led to the breakup of their relationship being captured in songs like “Dreams” and “Go Your Own Way“.
