I realized I was getting older when I was 43. I believe that’s when I started perimenopause. Of course, doctors didn’t agree. I felt different with a new sense of anxiety which led to a nervous breakdown in 2020. The week of Valentines Day. Not knowing that the whole world would also experience a breakdown with the COVID pandemic a month later.

Here we are in 2025, answering writing prompts. We made it. I made it. Life goes on despite our struggles. We won’t give up.
