Why did you train for this?” Bob asked Sarah. “What do you mean? Sarah wrinkled her eyebrows in confusion. Why did I train to be an astronaut”, Sarah wondered. As his cheeks turned cherry red in embarrassment, Bob desperately regretted trying to get to know his colleague. Sarah didn’t seem friendly. Bob made a mental note to try not to engage in conversation with her again. He turned his head forward to stare at the lights on the nearby console. As the space shuttle crew geared up for take off. Sarah said, “I trained for this experience. I wanted to see the world from a different perspective.” Bob noted Sarah’s attempt to reach out to him. Maybe she was frustrated by nervousness earlier. Either way, Sarah was cute. He didn’t notice a wedding ring on her left hand. How ironic was it that the two of them would be shuttle mates for the next two weeks? Bob was a flirter. Sarah was his new target for the next two weeks. Good GRIEF!
